ABOUT ME
Hello and a warm welcome. Are you feeling lost, unsure and need a welcoming space to talk? Are you struggling with your mental health and need help coping? Are you living with chronic pain and would like to talk to someone with a similar experience who gets it?
I offer a warm, accepting and safe space for you to explore your situation. I will listen to your story, ask direct questions and together we will find a solution. I am inclusive and mindful of LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity.

I have a passionate interest in chronic pain, health conditions and helping people with chronic conditions manage their feelings and find meaning.

I understand that committing to therapy takes courage and I offer the first session at half price so we can see if we will be a good fit together.

Experience
I have over 20 years’ experience in a variety of mental health, social care and wellbeing roles. I have spent a significant period of time in front-line services supporting people with depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement and disability.
​
I have experience of living with a chronic pain disorder for 15 years and have a keen interest in working with people who want to explore ways to cope with chronic illness and managing changes in their life circumstances. ​
​
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work in accordance with their ethical framework and professional conduct.

If after the first session you would like to proceed to have counselling with me we will go over the counselling agreement to ensure we both understand the agreement going forward.
​
​
There is no set number of sessions you need to book, we will work on a week by week basis and review progress regularly. When the time is right we will work towards an ending.
​
Evening appointments are available.

Limited reduced fee places for people on low incomes or benefits
